Call is the acronym for computer-assisted language learning. According to computer use, we can mention tutor and tool. For example; online grammar exercise would represent tutor uses. However, web search engine like Google would represent tool uses as it does not have a teaching function.
In the past these distinctions were misunderstood because tool uses dominate now, tutorial call was seen old-fashioned, but it is best way to use both.
