Quizfaber is a tool which helps us to create quizzes in HTML with a Java Script. The users don’t need to know anything about html tags or javascript. It creates different types of questions. These are: Questions with multiple choice in which only one answer is correct, questions with multiple choice in which one or more than one is correct.,
True or false questions, questions with an open end where the student can write his/her answer. Gap filling exercises include a text where some words are empty. Matching words: the students match the first column with the words that are in the second column.
Quizfaber also offers the possibilty of storing result of a quiz exam. Also you can build statistic of quiz results.
Also teacher can give a remark on each given answer so that student can have feedback after each answer. The user can have a maximum time for answering the questions.
At the end of the quiz, the student is given a final mark.
Features:
You can make hypertext quiz, you can insert of multimedia objects. You can have eleven predefinited HTML layout. Also it is possible to write an explanation for each answer. At the end of the quiz, there is immediately the valuation.
What should you install on your PC at first time?
You need to install a web server and a perl interpreter. There are some freeware web server for Windows, easy to install and easy to use:
· Xitami Web Server, for Windows 95/NT; Unix-OpenVMS; Alpha/AXP NT; OS/2 Warp
· ActivePerl of ActiveState, for Windows, Solaris, Linux
